Bodhi Moment: Making Friends with Our Emotions

How would it feel to experience more kindness in your life?

To discover more resilience in difficult situations and feel confident in your own emotional stability and your potential to connect to others?

We can feel so much more than we let ourselves.

Join us for 2.5 hours on 16 January at the Brú Columbanus center at 10:30am as we explore a contemplative approach to Buddhist wisdom using practical tools of meditation to open our hearts to our own innate wisdom and intelligence that reside within our emotions.

Our Bodhi Moments are short workshops on applying practices rooted in the Buddhist wisdom tradition, including meditation, compassion, and contemplation practices, to situations we face in our every-day life such as getting stressed out, feeling disconnected from loved ones, dealing with frustration, anger, and disappointment, and more.

Every Moment is a chance to come explore and share your experiences with others for a few hours, guided by our wonderful Bodhi instructors.

Continue the Moment with our Open Heart Course!

Starting 25th January, you are warmly invited to continue this experience with our Open Heart programme, in which we will explore how meditation can bring us more emotional ease and mental clarity. The course will run on Monday evenings starting 25 January until 5 April, from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Brú Columbanus center.

Explore the tools we need to discover our own innate resources and cultivate a more gentle experience of life. We learn how to experience a stronger sense of kindness and personal wellbeing.

When we feel confident that we can ‘be there for ourselves’, it is a certain way to naturally open up meaningful connections with others. Taking regular moments to connect with our body and bring awareness to our feelings, empowers us to receive the kindness we need and radiate kindness towards those around us.

Throughout the programme we walk through a sequence of simple steps to help us do just that.
