A meditation movement for people who are looking for something more…
From the moment you enter into for a Bodhi Course, Moment, Retreat, or Challenge, you will enter a vibrant space where personal reflection and contemplation blends with live interaction, discussion, and debate with instructors and other participants.
We believe that meditation is MORE than just sitting on a cushion and connecting with the breath. Meditation is exploring practical methods for being with our minds in our everyday lives.
Experienced Instructors
Our instructors have decades of experience in both practicing and in teaching meditation.
Bodhi instructors are not only guides for the Bodhi experience, but also mentors, friends, and confidants for Bodhi participants.
Bodhi runs instructor trainings twice yearly on a variety of topics, including trauma based mindfulness, the use of language, experiential learning, and more.
“The course was led by teachers that were experienced, generous, kind & humorous. A great experience and life long recipe for calm & peace.”
— Bodhi Course Participant
Welcoming Community
Bodhi is committed to providing in-person spaces wherever possible, and we stay connected through our online community when in-person gathering is not possible.
Whether you just want to come check out the vibes, learn to meditate, deepen your practice, or just need a break from the business of life, there is something for everyone to connect with at Bodhi.
We offer 8 week courses, day long urban retreats, half day events (Bodhi Moments), meditation challenges, and other gatherings such as hikes, forest bathing, art nights, and more.
"The harmony and communication among all the members of the group was my favorit. I felt so connected."

Inspired Teachings
Bodhi is a Sanskrit word that translates to “awakening” or “enlightenment” and is deeply connected with the core of the Buddhist teachings that emerged in India over 2,500 years ago.
The Bodhi curriculum - Clear Mind, Open Heart, and Seeing Reality - is based on this rich contemplative tradition, which has been honed and refined over centuries in the snowy land of Tibet, the jungles of Thailand, the islands of Japan, and the heartland of China.
We look to the core of the Buddhist teachings as taught in the Tibetan tradition to find inspiration for exploring our lives with curiosity, finding ways to be with and in our bodies, our hearts, and our minds.
“I joined to learn about a new type of inner work. To work on self-compassion, acceptance/guilt… To heal…”
— Bodhi Course Participant
Continuous by Design
There’s always something going on.
Bodhi courses typically run twice or three times per year depending on the centre, and we typically offer open sitting meditations in-between courses.
We also offer at least one meditation challenge and multiple day-long urban meditation retreats in various cities.
Finally, we offer at least one week long meditation retreat during the summer, either in the south of France or on the south-coast of Ireland.
“I had a wonderful experience that leaves me wanting to continue and learn more”
